Edit: I forgot Parallels was AND matching, here is your out for not including everyone when I rolled Any on literally all my requests. Don't do it man.

I wasn't going to write one of these, but then all my prompts ended up embarrassingly long. Oh well.

Most are just reused from previous exchanges, so if you want to check out the other letters that's fine. Except for nonconathon, since what I want there and what I want here are very, very different. The worldbuilding letters might be especially interesting, if you got CT, GR, or Suikoden. And don't worry if some sections are different lengths. Sometimes I just had longer prompts or there are more characters, don't read too much into it.

In fact, don't read too much into anything here.

I'm bad at prompting for art, but I'm also super easy there so take inspiration if you want or just draw like...a cool pose. This is the level of my understanding how to prompt for art. Do as you will.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon

Prompts: Adventures in the castle! A moment along the way in any of the modes, arguments among the party, aftereffects of being turned into a monster, picking up after any of the endings...there's lots of room to expand here. (the moment of realising you just jumped straight into a pit...) I'm especially interested in Nightmare mode, with Zangetsu doing his thing and the rest of the party doing theirs. The new final level and boss for Nightmare mode is really cool, so something investigating that would be great.

Either of the solo Zangetsu runs might also be neat to look at. Zangetsu's kind of weird, he starts off a jerk (and can be even more of a jerk if you want), but he softens by the end of the game even if he doesn't know why...and he totally regrets not taking folks along with him, even if all his introductions are "GO AWAY MONSTER".

Chrono Trigger

1999: Anything fleshing out 1999 would be cool. Their level of technology, if they knew Lavos was there, what happened directly after the Day of Lavos...all good. I especially like the idea of them trying to use Lavos as a scientific power source, because I'm all over historical parallels like that. How did the Communications Director hang on after the apocalypse? What sort of responsibilities did Doan inherit, and how many of them still make sense after Lavos?

Zeal: Cute and fluffy slice of life with all these characters, or something darker about Zeal. The game is kind of ambiguous on if Schala can hear the black wind like Janus, so going into that might be interesting. Or just what it's like for this kid to be able to sense death, especially when there's no King Zeal around... General worldbuilding about Zeal from the royal's perspective would be fun - what's the hierarchy like? Responsibilities? Why aren't there any other cats?

Others: Ayla vs every other time period! Ayla vs technology, magic, cats, modern housing, the Epoch...I love Ayla just throwing herself against anything she comes across, and the havoc that she can wreck. She's also surprisingly perceptive and unexpectedly wise, so maybe something with her interacting with the other party members and giving out good advice in an Ayla way.

Lucca invents literal teleportation and the game just kind of glosses over it. Where does that lead? She's also got semi-sentient robots and rayguns under her hat, how does this change the world? Especially post-game, when she's got royal backing. (please don't have her drift away from Chrono and Marle) How does history look back on her in 1999?

Escaflowne

Folken, Naria, Eriya: So I love the strange relationship these three have, where Folken really does think of the twins as adopted little sisters, the twins still have a bad case of the us against the world, and then they both have a crush on Folken. So anything exploring that a bit more would be cool.

Or just more about their life in Zaibach! Escaflowne has such a beautiful and coherent world, I'd dig some in-depth looks at any given country in it. There's lots of room to expand things in Zaibach - the Sorcerers, how beastpeople are treated, or how society is organized. They're in the middle of an industrial revolution, there's plenty of opportunity there for upheaval.

Dryden: I just want more worldbuilding, so Dryden running around in his merchant air fleet making deals across Gaea is perfect. Pre- or post-war, both are good. Does he hear any rumours of war before it breaks out? What changes in his work after the war? Does he go to Zaibach, and what does he think of their industry? That's something that could really change the world...

Fatal Fury

Hungry Wolf and Cub: Pretty much anything with these two would be great, ranging from cute and fluffy to sadder stuff. Early days of trying to get along, how everyone else reacted to Terry deciding to impulse-adopt Geese's kid, fill in an incident in the decade between Real Bout and Garou, go into the shadow of Geese over everything and how weird "I killed your dad, that means I'm your dad" is, resolve the Garou cliffhanger...it's all good. Both characters have tons of issues (most of which overlap) to explore, and everything's so sketched out in the games you can pick something up anywhere.

Separately, I'd love to see them interact with anyone who strikes your fancy, from FF to KoF. Fill in some backstory, jump to the future, it's fine.

B. Jenet: Adventures in piracy! How she got started with the pirate business, got a submarine and a crew (no seriously where'd that sub come from), if she has any contact home at all, a treasure-hunting trip that ends in success or a fiasco...all of those would be fun. Hotaru becomes part of the gang! B. Jenet feels like she almost belongs more in a wacky steampunk JRPG more than a fighting game, so anything expanding on her when she's not running around beating people up would be great.

For art, any sort of fighting, hanging out, randomly posing (or having to practice all those poses!) would be cool. Slice of life stuff would be especially fun here.

About SNKglish...I'm not going to mind if you write the characters how they're probably supposed to talk, not how they do, but I really do like the idea that "weenie", "dweeb", and the others are deadly insults in the SNKverse.

Giant Robo

Prompts: Go for broke!

No seriously I love this thing so fucking much just more of the OVA is great, more focus on anything the OVA skipped over (like 90% of the cast) is great, more worldbuilding is especially great. I rolled Any because I really would be happy to receive a fic about anyone nominated, or any of their relationships, or anything. Giant Robo is a show that gives you just glimpses into the world and characters, just enough to whet your taste for more. So just a little more for anyone would be great! I'm deliberately keeping the prompts broad, so just pick whoever you like and go for it.

Post canon cleaning up and rebuilding? (what are Hanzui & Komei going to do now the big boss is awake...and what's he got to say about Operation Earth Stand Still?) Pre-canon adventures? Quiet moments of downtime? Places where something could've gone differently? How anyone joined IPO/Big Fire? Has anyone ever met someone from the other side at a time and place where they couldn't just fight it out then and there? How awkward was it? What's it like growing up in the IPO/Big Fire? I imagine Daisaku and Sunny would have very different perceptions on it, not to mention Taisou, Tetsugyu, and Ginrei!

Phantasy Star

Prompts: One thing that really interests me about Phantasy Star is that it feels like the fantasy is intruding on the sci-fi instead of the other way around like how FF tends to do it. More exploration of that particular mix of elements would be great! How does this scientific society treat magic? Is it more integrated than we see in the game? How about relations between the Palmans and the Motavians and the Dezorians? Are people with magic hired as translators? Does this cause any problems?

In the Phantasy Star Compendium, it's said that Alis was hidden from Lassic because a servant misunderstood and thought Lassic had assassinated the former king and queen. This is totally fascinating to me. Why would she think that? How did she convince the governor of Motavia to go along with it? What if she hadn't and Alis had been raised by Lassic? (feel free to go as dark here as you want)

Or just moments fleshing out the game, like the cake dungeon, or exploring the other planets, or conversations between the characters...that's all great too. What did everyone get up to afterwards? How did they shape Algo? The Compendium mentions that Musk Cats became popular pets after Myau became famous, did the heroes influence pop culture in any other ways? What would an in-universe book or movie of their adventures look like? How are they taught in history class?

Psychic Force

Prompts: I hate to say this, but...anything? It's a fairly shallow series, so anything that adds some depth is great. I'd love something going into how normal people and psychics relate, as it's something incredibly important to the story, but not used at all. Are there psychic sympathizers? More peaceful liberation groups? Previous attempts at revolution? One of Burn's biggest weaknesses is that his entire plan is "let's forget about all this nonsense and go home" without really addressing why NOA exists or is so extreme. I don't think he's bad, just kind of naive. Is there any way for him to break out of that and for Keith to break out of terrorism? (read: is it at all possible to get my OTP together without suffering?) Pretty much anything with Burn and Keith and their tumultuous relationship is good.

I just like Patty in general. What was her childhood like? How long has she been on her own? How did she meet up with Might, and how did they become friends instead of fighting? What happens to her after the game? Can the time loop break?

I like Wendy a lot too, both as the spunky kid character in 2010 or the older, sadder kid in 2012. She's been through a lot and she still gets one of the happiest endings for a good character - and that's still losing two of the three people she cares about. What does she do after 2012? Is there any conflict with Burn about how she killed Keith? What was her childhood like with Chris? How did she join NOA? What was she up to inbetween 2010 and 2012?

I know Patty and Wendy never interact in game, but I'd kind of like to see them meet in fic. I think they'd have a much less chance of killing each other on sight than most of the rest of the cast, and both of them deserve to hang out with a friend for a little bit :)

Carlo and Regina are cool, and I'd like anything more about them, their background, how they joined NOA (were they rescued? found it on their own?), what they were doing after everything exploded in 2010.... Splitting them up would also be interesting. Do they have any friends besides each other? If Regina somehow survived her ending, what would she do without Carlo? What's Carlo going to do after he loses literally everything he lived for?

And Wong...again, down for anything. Being cool and evil! Manipulating the hell out of Keith! Having some sort of encounter with any of the other characters (Burn would be extra fun here, either when Burn's temporarily hanging out in NOA or in 2012), how he got to where he is, what the next steps in his plan are...anything.

Suikoden

Prompts: I like worldbuilding, and Suikoden is a great place for that. I dig the setting, and I'd love a deeper look into the Chinese-European fantasy mix that makes it up. I'd love to see how it's changed over the centuries, both in the past and how it will change in the future. How are the wars and heroes remembered later? How do they remember themselves? More about how magic and runes work would also be great. Just how influential are the True Runes?

Tir wandering around post-canon is always fun. What would it be like if the legendary founder of the Republic of Toran just showed up in Gregminister a thousand years later? Does Gregminister even still exist? How does he adjust to the changes in the world? I think it would be interesting to see him interact with or become a historian. How does the party line differ from what he remembers, and is what he remembers even still accurate? Human memory is such a fragile thing...

My prompts for Ted are similar to Tir, but in reverse. He's also surprisingly immature and bad at hiding his true nature, which is weird considering he's supposed to have been doing this for the past three or four hundred years. (I mean, yeah, the reason is exposition. But still.) Who does he have in Soul Eater? How did the rune continue influencing his life?

For Barbarossa...if you check his backstory, it's very close to a Suikoden story itself. Gathering a rebellion, the generals, he even has a true rune. Was Barbarossa a Tenkai Star once? Anything exploring that would be aces.

For Cleo, she fought for Barbarossa and then Tir. What kind of perspective does that give her on the war? What does she do afterwards? Does she ever see Tir (and Gremio?) again? What would she do if the Toran Republic started going the way of the Empire, with rising corruption and social problems?

Sonya is similar to Cleo, though she's got that switch in the middle of the game to look at. What she's up to post-canon, how she shifts from joining just to watch Tir die to being cool with him, her relationship with her mom, or the generals that knew her mom. Does she have any trouble living up to her mom's name?

Super Robot Wars

Prompts: So I love the SRX Team, and I'd love just about anything with them. Slowly learning to get along, just hanging out, or training in their robots. How did they develop R-Formation? Even after they all become friends, are there any conflicts they have? Or just dealing with Ryusei's nerdery. Actually for that, it's not really made a point of in OG1, but Bian Zoldark's also a giant robot nerd. I'd kind of like a fic where he and Ryusei unknowingly meet online and get into an argument about giant robots before/during the DC War. Or SRX threesomes. I'm always down for those.

I like the Bransteins in general, so something about them would also be good. A story focusing on Rai and Leona's childhood would be cool. It seems they grew up together, what was that like? I get the impression Maier wasn't around very much, and Elzam had to be a dad to them. Or maybe not, whichever you want. How did Rai and Leona feel about the expectations placed on them? They've clearly accepted them by the time of the game, but did they ever want to do something else? Or how did the people at home react to the Vanishing (Berserk) Trooper incident? I'd also like to see more of the Treue (Troye) Unit, so a story about Leona's time there would be great. I like the Octo Squad too, and something about Leona trying to adjust to her new teammates and their very...nonmilitary way of doing things would be super fun. Or how did she and Tasuku become an item?

For Sanger, what did he do before he started piloting giant robots? How did he get into sword fighting? Stories about the old Aggressor squad would be great too. What was it like trying to program mechs when no one had ever piloted one before? (...besides Gilliam) What was it like being under Adler (and why did he not just cleave the guy in the first place)? I also really like Lily, so something with her and Sanger in that time period would be great. Or adventures with Elzam once they meet up. Are Sanger's sword skills any use in the kitchen? :)

For Gilliam, well, I won't ask for knowing his entire backstory, because I've never played Hero Senki all the way through and I can't expect anyone else to have actually done so. (If you do know about Hero Senki and SRW 4, then feel free to bring all that in, I'd get a huge kick out of it. But that's even more of a longshot than SRW in the first place) OG2 establishes that he's a dimension hopper, at least. So some stuff about that effects him, and what it's like to stop and stay in one dimension (possibly permanently) would be interesting to me. What made him go from teaming up with Vindel of all people to choosing to stay in the OGverse forever? Or time in the Aggressors, like with Sanger. He's the only one that actually knows how to pilot them, does anyone else notice? Or something focusing on his work in intelligence.

And look, I just want to know how a 24-year old got to be a Lieutenant Colonel and her weird crush on her much older boss. Or what happens if she lives! There was no reason for Lily to die.

Voltes V

Prompts: So the whole 'brothers!' revelation is left off until the last ten minutes of the show, so it's not really explored. I'd like to see that expanded a little, either either the secret coming out earlier and forcing the Voltes team/Heinel to deal with it while still fighting each other, or having Heinel live and have to deal with it that way. It would probably be a lot harder for Kenichi and the others to just kind of accept Heinel if he hadn't conveniently died right then...

More about having to rebuild Boazan would be neat as well, that's also glossed over. Further adventures? Kenichi and his brothers having to deal with being half-Boazan when they have time to think about it? I'd love something dealing with cultural clashes as everyone tries to sort themselves out after the series ends. This is also a good place for a Heinel lives AU, if you want.
