Don't panic.
Listen, you have full permission to ODAO the fuck out of this. I don't care. If you have an idea write it, it's cool. Also cool: leaving characters out, adding in unnominated characters. Whatever. As long as at least one requested character is in there do what you want.
Don't worry if some sections are different lengths. Sometimes I just had longer prompts or there are more characters, don't read too much into it. You can also look at my previous letters because what I want doesn't change much.

General likes: Worldbuilding, gen, noncon, horror, comedy, everything being fucked up forever, fluff...look just pick an extreme and roll with it.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - any
Fandom specific DNW: LoI is canon, Mathias is Dracula, don't say it's not. The cartoon is not canon, please don't include anything from it.
Prompts: I am very excite about these nominated characters
I love monsters, I love the castle, I love anything expanding on the monsters and what it's like to live in the castle. I like to think all the monsters are sentient and have a lot of complicated alliances and rivalries, so let your imagination go wild. Who gets along with the Magic Tomes? Who wants to see the Spectral Sword lose that plush spot that's perfect for killing Belmonts? Do Magic Tomes and Spectral Swords get along? Do either of them get along with the Librarian?
Speaking of the Librarian, he's really interesting to me (and not just because I want his job). Looks human, but serves Dracula and is old enough to know Alucard from before he switched sides. What's the story there? How does he fit into castle politics? Why isn't he in any of the other games?
I just like Dracula in general. Anything with him is good. Having to actually rule the castle instead of sitting on his throne waiting for a Belmont, messing with any Belmont, whatever. Go into why OoE happens even after the end of SotN, why not. I'm also big into vampire characters just forgetting stuff over the centuries...like the beloved wives he fucked up his and everyone else's lives for.
Still down for everything in my Worldbuilding letter, which does include some Dracula and castle prompts.
Ways to experience: You can buy it on PSN or Xbox. (note: not if you have a PS4) It's also included in Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP, which is the way I recommend emulating if you have to do it. RetroArch isn't that bad to set up, but you'll need to dig up some BIOS files. There is a collection releasing for PS4 in October, but...please don't give Konami money.

Fandom specific DNW: Acknowledging Chrono Cross. We are all living in 1996 forever, okay?

And...still down for anything in my Parallels letter. And my Worldbuilding letter.
...which covers most of the nominated characters. Um. For Robo, he's presumably built in 1999, but then goes back to 2300 at the end. I'd like to know more about what happened to him in 1999 and on the Day of Lavos (he's apparently not aware it happened), and what happens to him after the party fixes the world. Still around in a good future? A strange, out-of-place obsolete robot? Or I'd like to see him and Fiona fixing up the forest and those 400 years in the desert.
Ways to experience:
The Steam version is way better now, so that's actually an option. Or just grab SNES9x and type "Chrono Trigger rom" into Google. (higan's also a good choice if you have the power)
DS LP
Fatal Fury - any
Fandom specific DNW: Don't hurt Lily or child Rock. Basically, leave the non-combatants alone.
Note on timelines: Since I'm asking for Fatal Fury specifically, stick with that. But if you want to bring in KoF stuff, that's cool too. I'm down for stories of the My Two Dads Team at KoF. Band of Fighters and Days of Memories AUs are the only exception to the blanket "no non-canon divergent AUs" ban.
Prompts: Still down for anything in my Nonconathon letter again. And the Parallels letter.
This is a fandom where I'm down for damn near anything since it's so small. I'd love any of these characters interacting, either with each other or with anyone else from the cast. Just throw characters together! There are plenty of them and most have some sort of relationship! Down for pretty much any ship you can justify, with a special mention for my weird crackship of Billy/Duck. (They'd throw some incredible dance parties, okay...?!) Or play off all those weird facts that show up in character profiles, or pick up off anyone's endings...Real Bout and Real Bout 2 are especially good for this.
Or pick up something from anyone's backstory...there are two decade-long timeskips that are fairly important for all these four characters. (AoF references rule) Or Geese, Jeff, and Cheng training and getting into trouble. Or Billy in the Garou-time, if he ever got over Geese or not. Or how weird it is to get raised by a guy who's always having nightmares about your other dad (and turning into a girl. Thanks, SNK Heroines!).
I love how any character's story can be "canon" in fighting games, so feel free to play off an ending where someone other than Terry or Rock won the tournament.
How to experience: I'll try to make this non-complicated but it's a long-running fighting game series and I'm a really obsessive nerd.
Shortest version: Watch Memories of Stray Wolves, read up in the SNK Wiki (not 100% reliable thanks to 90s SNK and normal fan wiki crap), maybe screw around in Real Bout Fatal Fury and Garou: Mark of the Wolves. You can get both those games on pretty much any modern platform or try out WinKwaks.

I have a retranslation project because SNK got...creative in the 90s.
I reincarnated into an otome game as a villainess with only destruction flags - Katarina, Mary, Maria
Note: It's not a DNW, but I really don't ship Katarina with any of the boys. If you want to go with any sort of endgame pairing, preference is Mary > Maria > Sophia > any boy. Or just dodge the issue by Bakarina being black hole dense.
In general I'd prefer this one to stay light and comedic. It's not really a canon for things to get dark, you know?
Prompts: More Katarina being as dumb as humanly possible at everything happening around her! At school, after they graduate, whatever. Throw in whatever stereotypical high school anime hijinks you feel like, the light novels already did a school festival for no reason. Time for a hot springs episode. Or Mary helping Katarina out with the field, Katarina trying to help Maria make sweets, anything. For post-graduation, anything with how the characters stay in touch and keep seeing each other afterwards...and competing over Katarina. Or Mary just carrying Katarina off after graduation...if she succeeds or not is up to you!
I still like worldbuilding, even though the world of Fortune Lover is deliberately shallow. But anything playing around with how magic works would be great. I also really love clever uses of weak magic, so Katarina stumbling into making her Earth Thud especially useful by being so dumb it wraps around to clever would be perfect. Or if you want to get meta, maybe play off how shallow the world is since it was just created as the background for an otome game, but then people are actually living there...Mary or Maria finding a place where the world just doens't work right and putting it together with Katarina's slip-ups could be neat. And possibly creepy.

Psychic Force - any
Prompts: I'm still down for everything in my Parallels letter. Again again.
Psychic Force is the old, beloved canon where I'll take literally anything, so go hog wild. Worldbuilding (what's going on outside all our main characters' drama?), interaction between any random characters, backstory, picking up after any ending, whatever. Or if you want to write something fluffier, anything in the Puzzle Taisen world would also be a lot of fun. I still want Psychic Force Puzzle Taisen 2012...
